Cuphead, developed and published by Studio MDHR, is one of the run-and-gun video game franchises. In this game, your mission is very straightforward; all you have to do is guide your character through the maze while avoiding the pitfalls along the way. As a side note, make sure you don't forget to pick up coins along the road to boost your power.
If you are a real enthusiast of indie video games, do not miss the chance to play this game.
The gameplay of Cuphead consists primarily of never-ending boss battles that are broken up by levels of run-and-gun platforming action. Each one resides in a different one of the four worlds, with the final confrontation taking place with the Devil. There are three difficulty levels available for each boss fight: easy, normal, and expert (with the exception of the final two bosses, which lack a simple mode). It is necessary to vanquish a boss in normal mode in order to advance through the game, and doing so enables access to expert mode for that specific level.
The scenery, characters, and soundtrack were all inspired by Disney animated films from the 1930s, so they reflect the nostalgic atmosphere of animation from that time period.
